I agree, the market for your rims is much bigger than the market for a Warn Bellevue. So the rims will be much easier to sell than the winch. Unless you specifically wanted this winch to restore for an old project than I say sell the rims don't trade for this winch.

Generally speaking rock climbers usually run low CG lifts with lots of suspension droop. Mudders usually high lifts and suspension articulation is not as important as in rocks.

Not to be mean but I call B.S. on this. I just took 10 seconds and the 6th item that showed up in an ebay search for "winch mount plate" is buy it now $60 with free shipping and that is from a store not private sale.

If you bolt 1/4" plate to the bumper it will only serve to support the bumper, not the bumper supporting the plate. The winch plate will be much stronger than a sock bumper. On ebay do not look at plates being sold by companies, look at private sale listings.

Or get the right rims with proper offset.

The steering box skid will not work on an Astro van box, thats why I mentioned I had that box. The pitman arm points forward so it is the lowest and farthest forward thus the first thing to get hit below the bumper.
