    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

My latest project has been a cowl snorkel. I've been accumulating parts for awhile now. I used a spectre inline air box I bought from summit racing, part of the factory tj air system, some "ricer" hose's from autozone (however summit actually carries one in a 40" length that would have been...

    Transmission oil

Umm they are referring to fluid for manual transmissions. You need to use the correct fluid for your auto transmission.

    Weber carburetor installation

Now would be a good time to do a "nutter bypass" . As to that there is a good amount of info on this site, I installed one on my dad's yj with a 4.2 (which already had the nutter bypass done). Make sure you get a fuel pressure regulator and gauge so you don't run to high of pressure to the carb.

Brake Conversion Kits for 01 TJ

There is also a "junkyard" route to rear disks. You need to get the parts from a 93-98 grand Cherokee. Calipers rotors the e-brake setup and the backing plates. Should be considerably less expensive.

No, that is a one off custom. There was an article in Jp mag a couple of months ago on it.

Have you looked at the linkage and tried to shift the transfer case at the transfer case or just via the lever? Sometimes linkage and pop free, but also check the fluid in the t-case.

YJ 4.2 on a cj frame?

Maybe I'm missing something but why don't you source some cj 4.2 mounts and use them with your current engine? For what it's worth my dad has a 90 yj with the 4.2 that a previous owner rebuilt using a cj block.

    Help! My Jeep fell apart!

If you plan on parting it out you may make $2000-$2500. People will literally want everything that is usable. What you need to realize is that some of the factory parts you have are difficult to source new replacements for or really expensive to source replacements for. I don't know where you're...

    Jeep jk stock flares.

I'm looking for a pair of rear stock jeep jk fender flares. They don't have to be fancy, I'm just hoping one of you out there has upgraded and has a pair setting around your garage. I'm located in North central ohio, but I'm willing to travel a ways.

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Went to the 4 wheel drive hardware jeep jamboree today. I hit the obstacle course, it was a riot. The pictures don't do it justice, it was a blast. The jeep preformed awsome. I hit some obstacles that much more built jk's bi-passed.

$10,000 m38a1 I saw, it was very nice. I'd love to have driven this one home, early cj5 with old school aftermarket goodies.

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

I've bounced around with additional lighting in the past on this jeep and previous ones and I've always wanted to try a decent led light. I went with a anzo USA 6" light bar. It's pretty impressive for its size, the light pattern extends roughly the same length as the low beams but it covers a...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

The Jk springs are awesome. My stock springs were pretty shot, but even compared to good low mileage tj springs these are hands down better. The rear Jk springs are a progressive type, so they deal great with the hardtop. The stock jk rear springs are about 2" taller than the tj rears but the...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

They're nothing fancy, the uppers are universal energy suspension, the lowers are hockey pucks. I drilled them on center and counter bored the upper puck enough to sink the head of the bolt. At $2.50 each they are far more cost effective than the $30-$45 dollar interlocking stops that bolt on...
