I know how a carb works. I should have been more detailed. It dosent want to start every time. Not just in the mournings. All day. Also, it kinda has a chug to it. I did new plugs, wires, etc. not a carb kit though.

Hello, I have a couple of questions for you. I have a 87 grand wagoneer. 1. When starting it crankes alot before it catches., runs fime once sarted. Why? 2. When driving, it dosent seem to shift into high gear, id say 2500 rpms at 45mph. Filter, kick down linkage? Thanks
