Yes it would have, but keep in mind this was a budget build for me as I have Zero $$ in steel stock and parts because I had it laying around after a previous project. It would have been just as good with aluminum if I had the aluminum stock and a Tig welder.

Thanks Guys! I attatched it to the main tire carrier which holds part of the weight and yes, it lays flat along the top of the spare for strength and support too. One of the main reasons I made the mounting tabs in behind the spare is to help detour theives. You would have to get the spare...

That is WAY messed up!! The only words I unsderstood was THE, AND and It. :grin:

It looks like the bolts didn't get torqued down enough and slid the Body mounts around until they seated crooked and stayed that way. It's amazing how a little adjustment can go a long way. Definantly put new body mounts on and I'm with the rest of the guys. That should fix your problem...

They should line up the same, the hard doors just have the upper door surrounds. I've pondered on the thought of getting a set of half doors just to throw on due to my full doors don't give you as much "open feeling" while riding around. Yea, yea, i could just take the doors off, but I like...

I can't help but laugh when I wave at some of the New JK owners and they have that "WTF" look on their face..... Needless to say, most don't wave because they're still tryin to figure out who it was in the TJ that "MUST" have known them. :funny:
