besides power, some like to drive on the freeway, that means 70 mph just to keep out of the way. not an easy solution to that.

the 4 cyl. italian will have a very short life. haveing a jeep with a stock 4 wount sell or it will spon an angry buyer. we need to come with a small, well made engine and easy inter change. vin

super chargers and computers should be put on strong engines. the old buick 322 v8 would go 6,000 rpm from the factory. the chev small block can be made to turn high r.p.m.'s. there is nothing from the factory jeep that will do that. i think you are stuck with an engine swap. vinn

i knew they used gas on rubber tires on tractors or was that some liquid for weight? heavier tires on a jeep would help to keep it "upright", but hard to change. vinn

well, today ill try to explain the two pix [above] showing the front rotor (94 yj). the two bolt caliper has been removed. note , one of the two bolt tabs is BENT. the caused problem was "occasional brake seize up", AND skid,smoke and PANIC. with torch and hammer, i put the tab back in...

wow Hunter, thanks. i am going re think this project, continue assembling the chev 350 for some other project. i knew that 5 speed was weak when i first drove it. i have an s-10 pickup with a 5 speed that i thought was quite strong, but the guy who put a 350 in front of it proved me wrong...
