terry; what year is your jeep. ? mine is a 94 wrangler and I have worked up in that area. the gas cap is under the rear licencence plate. in that area is a fuel filter, gas and vent lines and a poor tank conection. vinn

my 94 yj has the Italian 4 cyl and light duty transmission. except for these two , the jeep id very well built. the 4 wheel drive is great for work around the yard., BUT it dosent want to go70 mph on the hiway. the two engines that would cure this are : small block chev and Toyota...

I only know of three types of U joints: the one that has the zert fitting for a std. grease gun, the one without (you can disassemble it and put grease into the cups, but its designed to be replaced} and one I recently found on a Bronco 11 - it has a very small hole to pump in grease...

I am trying to get the heater assembly off the fire wall. this is a 94 yj with a crappy 4 cyl. Italian engine, the heater and the engine is the only problem I have, it needs to go 79 m.p.h. with heat. any advice?
