Had a similur problem on a 97 xj... Pull the starter relay and use a paper clip or something similur to jump the termals. When looking at it from the side of ur jeep it should be the top middle slot and the bottom middle slot. If it turns ur engine over then its something to do with the egnition...

Could possibly be air in the master cylander. Best way to get it out is lift the front of the car up or park it on a hill and bleed the breaks. Also make sure the resevoir has plenty of fluid in it

Well of its anything like the older xjs then look at ur power steering pump.. there's 2 bolts to loosen on the back and 2 on the front. Then there's an adjustment bolt on the bottom right of the unit thatl let it slacken up

Nope. Grand Cherokee has a 4 link rear and the normal Cherokee is leaf sprung

So I wrecked my 97 Cherokee. Bought a 93 and both the throttle position sensor and map sensor are bad on the 93. I know the plugs are different but could a little wiring be done to swap the larger bore throttle body from my 97 that has the map sensor on it to the 93?
