Sounds pretty strange ... Maybe something funny has happened in your bell housing where when the clutch is depressed it causes the motor to bind? Is it kinda like trying to let the clutch out in 5th gear with the e brake on?
Well its been doing this as long as I've had it and I've ignored it.. but when i first start it up it will turn over quite a bit before it starts and then once it has started it will sputtered for a few seconds like half the cylanders aren't firing.
My throttle body is clean and I've used fuel...
I've seen a lot of people have problems with recently replaced just because one nut or screw was forwgotten somewhere.... My sister actually had her oil plug bolt come out on the freeway..
Glassworks... The guy can be a little hard to get a hold of but his price is pretty good. Call don't email.. not exactly the best business man but makes a good product. Fortunately I live nearby his shop so I paid in cash when I went to pick em up
I agree. Firstthing I thought of was a dirty isc... Use something like carb cleaner or brakecleaner... Maybe sea foam and clean your whole throttle body.. at the very least it will help
I agree check terminals.. they need to make really good conection so the starter can draw enough amps. Clean them good and possibly replace the little clamps and then tighten em down
Could also be ur panhard bar.. my brother installed a small list on his jeep and didn't bolt the bar all the way back on correctly and it did that to him at about the same speed
You could make pretty much any axle work. As for ease of swapping Idk if there would be a difference between wagoneer axles and axles from a fullsize truck. I do know the Dana 60s of a fullsize will be way stronger
Mine does the same but only when I turn on my ac ( extra load on the belt) I figure its an idlers puppy gone bad or something.. mine was just like yours and I replaced my belt and tightend it up a bit so now it only happens with Extra load while its cool.. that or it could be your power steering...
So my cousin found this link and it sounds a little crazy but I'm thinking of trying it. What do you all think? http://jeep-xj.info/HowtoRadiatorRestrictor.htm
