I have a 77-7 with out power brakes. I use it as a daily driver and at this rate my right leg will be twice the size of my left in 2 more weeks. So here's the question. How hard is it to swap to power brakes? Is it as easy as swapping the master cylinder?

You may very well be correct sir (fuel pressure). But the boys at weber redline, quadratrack, my 7, and NAPA all disagree with you.

You need a fuel regulator. The webers need 3.5 psi and jeeps put out 8-10 psi.

Just call the techs. I have the exact same wiring kit from painless in my 77 7 and the purple wire should be from the engine. But either way just call tech support. Usually a guy named mike answers. I asked him the same question and he helped me out no worries

Hahaa I don't know if it was DIY or just lack presence of the common sense fairy. Engine operating surface temps are bad for wires! Duh lol

I actually rewired the whole truck and now she runs like a champ! Apparently the last "mechanic" thought it a good idea to run the wires for the ignition control box right next to the engine block...

I just got a message from a guy in Korea. He wants me to fill out a questionnaire with some pretty detailed info. He signed the message saying that he GOT MY INFO FROM JEEPZ!!!! what gives?!?!

I've just installed my painless wiring kit 10110 on my 77 cj7. The only thing working are the dash lights and the turn signals.. No head lights no engine crank. Could this be a ground issue?? (I have a fiberglass body)
