    You should not use a shackle that is 2" longer the factory. 1 you will tear off the spring hangers after hard wheeling 2 you will mess us the front end.

    Unless you have a Dana 44 rear DO not put a locker in the rear. DO NOT up grade this axle dump it for a Scout Dana 44 rear.

    Here is the project YJ.He told me they had it out on the highway no vibs. So I guess I did a good job. Note: I'm a welder ,I have a Stick welder and a small mig To handle the big and small jobs.

    Saw my Buddy today with the YJ (Scout Dana 44 rear) He loves it went from a Dana 35 rear with 3:07's to a Scout Dana 44 with 4:10's. Right now he is running CJ/Ford rims in the back 5 on 5 1/2 and a 10" rim. We have to match the front end should swap in soon.

    To run 35's you will need more then just a 4" lift. You will need a body lift and or trimming.

    Do not waste any money on a Dana 35. Get a Scout 2 Dana 44 rear or a Ford 8.8. Going with 4:88's the gears will be weaker then 4:11's
