miss k, you'll have to stop in suffolk next time you're headed to the beach and pick up my xj. hwy mpg more like 22, at 70 mph. and she'll cruise at 85 - 90 if you prefer... and get up there quickly. ;) 22 mpg and up is if you're behaving. but trust me, you won't want to after openin' 'er...

i know it's an old thread. but for the sake of those doing searches on the topic, i'll put in a suggestion to check out a crated stroker engine. fits in there just like a stocker, performs much better than you've dreamed, and will last longer depending on who builds it, and with what options...
