Actually the auto(3speed) anyway is shorter then a 5speed. but imagine the 4sp is probably alittle longer.

You can buy a power-trax lunchbox locker. they make one to fit the LS case but they are alot more $$ then a lock-rite and are the same thing except have bigger diameter side sleeve to match the case.

You'll love having the option of locking or unlocking the front, plus it helps the d30 live alot longer(those sweet axles will help for sure) I replaced my blue plastic hose with stainless steel, never had a problem with that but the plastic line cracked a few times.

YA, can't figure out why we pay so much more on the west coast. Not as bad as down in cali though. Still getting shafted though.
