    low RPMS

I just followed the instructions given by Bounty Hunter (removed throttle body, cleaned everything out, etc) and now the thing RUNS PERFECTLY! Thanks for everyone's help in this :)

    Time To Lift

Wow, that's a fantastic reply. You've convinced me into buying these coil spacers. Couple more questions: 1. Is there a certain type/brand of coil spacer that I should stay away from or make sure to get? 2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I will need the following: -coil spacers (I'm thinking...

    Time To Lift

I just spoke to my buddy who actually works for a Jeep body shop and he said he could get me a decent price on "remote reservoir coil overs"? He said it's 100x better than simply adding inches to my current suspension. I'm not really sure what this entails.... but he told me that I would not...

    Time To Lift

I've actually put a lot into my Jeep already (like the tow hooks, straps, soft top, sound system, etc). This lift is just the next thing, so I figured $1000 was a pretty good amount for me to get a quality lift. What's the difference between body lifts and coil spacers? Does road...

    Time To Lift

I know I've been doing all types of threads these days, but I'm a new Jeep owner and I want this thing to look good asap. For my 21st birthday, the parents are going to end up giving me some cash for a lift, but I honestly have no idea how much to lift it, what kind of lift to get, etc. I...

    low RPMS

I'm a little new to this, so could someone elaborate on how to clean my throttle body, the IAC housing, and IAC plunger? Also, what solvent should be used?

    low RPMS

I'm not sure what you mean by "speedo" but if it's the speedometer, then yes it works properly. The transmission is the stock one. I really seem to have any problems shifting, accelerating, or driving. It's just when I'm stopped while I'm in gear.

    low RPMS

I have a 97 Wrangler Sport with an inline 6 4.0 Liter engine. It has about 75k miles on it. Thanks again for everyone's help.

    low RPMS

I recently went offroading with a buddy and the check engine light went on. After getting code 24 (Throttle position sensor input above the maximum (or below the minimum) acceptable voltage; or TPS signal does not correlate to MAP sensor) and changing the TPS, the check engine light turned off...

    PCV Valve

This is actually a little embarrassing because I know how easy it should be to replace a PCV valve in a car, but here goes. I recently bought a 97 Wrangler Sport (6 cyl 4.0 liter). Whenever I change the oil in a car of mine, I normally change the PCV valve as well, so I pulled it out and went...

    Winter Tires/wheels

I have a 97 Wrangler Sport with no lift. Over the past summer, I put some Dayton Timberline M/T 31x10.5 tires with Micky Thompson Classic II wheels on it. THEY LOOK GREAT. There's only one problem: I live in upstate New York, where the winters are fierce and I really hate to ruin my new rims...

    Tires...Need your opinions

hey i had pretty much the same problem. i have a 97 wrangler sport (no lift) and i hated the way the old stock tires looked, so i bought Dayton Timberline M/T 31x10.5's with Micky Thompson Classic II wheels. it was a mistake. although i love them in the summer, i dont want to ruin them during...

    Fenders

I have a 97 Wrangler and there's some rust spots on the front fenders (both sides). I talked to a body shop worker and he said that it would be best for me to just replace the whole thing. I've been looking online and I can't seem to find them for any less than like $200 EACH! I was hoping...

    Tps??

I have a 97 Wrangler TJ that I just recently bought. I went off-roading with it, and wouldn't ya know, the check engine light turned on a couple days later. I checked what code the light meant and I got codes 12, 24, and 55 (12 and 55 don't mean anything important). Now it's starting to get...
