    Electric fan???

Every thread I can see that's start with electric fan mod say an advantage is shutting it off when it comes to water crossings and deep water. So I would say for mudding an electric fan would be a good thing. That and maybe a 3 core radiator just in case you get majority of the radiator covered...

    A/C bearing question

Ya seeing the I don't have any a/c equipment. Is it fine to drive on it? Only makes the noise when the ac is on so it shouldn't harm anything?

    A/C bearing question

No its not the belt. Brand new and its tensioned almost perfect. Theres a bearing inside the compressor too? Don't I have to get the whole system vacummed out and then recharged then put new oil?

    A/C bearing question

I have a 97 tj with the 2.5. It's starting to get in the high 100s here in az :(, so I have started using my ac well it blows cold. The compressor kicks on when its suppose to but I have noticed a noise when the compressor is kicked on at high rpms above let's say 2500 rpms. It only does it when...

    No A/C

It must be a pretty good sized leak for it to subside after a week. I'd try that stop leak stuff or of you want to fix it try the leak detector stuff

can anyone tell me what this is?

I don't have to open the transmission case to replace any of those bearings would I?
  15. luis

can anyone tell me what this is?

Does the transmission spin if the transmission is in neutral and the engine on? Amco wants 600 just to drop the transmission and if its a throw out bearing or pilot bearing would that be something simple?

can anyone tell me what this is?

Well I did that and no change at all. Still making the noise. I took it to an amco near by and the said its either bearing in the transmission or the pilot bearing not sure what that is? Is like the through out bearing? Well anyways the noise doesn't accelerate with the engine. Stays constant...

can anyone tell me what this is?

Yes I placed back in the right way. But it wasn't causing the noise so I took the cover and everything off for nothing. So I'm back to square one

can anyone tell me what this is?

No i placed it back in. But I'm trying to locate a horrific noise and I thought it might be that

can anyone tell me what this is?

I have a 97 jeep tj 2.5. This object was sitting in front of my crankshaft gear on the timing chain just before the cover. My question is, is it important, does it need to be there?

What did you do to your Jeep today?

I installed the 4.0 tb into my 2.5 today. And I have to say that the response is a a lot smoother and a lot quicker. I'm very happy with it
