@ bouty hunter you dont have to slow down quickly for it to be a death wobble i only had to slow down to 30 for mine to stop my 2000 xj did this after i put a 3 inch lift on it but i would make shur all the bushings are in good shape and that there is not too much play in all of your linkage...

i would say new batter or altenator maybe the voltage regulator if none of those are bad make shur your wires lead to the battery from the altenator are not bare and grounding out i would do the same with the battery cables also

i have a three inch rough country lift on my 00 xj the only things i had to do was put a new steering stabelizer and an adjustable trac bar in it to stop the "death wobble"

Re: wheels and tires the wheels are a 15 inch with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern and the tire size is 235/r15 the wheels are in great shape only one has a finger print on it from when i took the brakes apart its almost gone though i would put pics up but i am in callifornia till the end of next week...

after doing the math i have put almost 5 grand into her this year:shock: could have gotten more beer for the shop cause you cant drink and drive but you can drink and fix
