i seem to remember that there were diffrent spring rates offered from the factory for hard or soft top jeeps . not positive this is the case , just something i think i remember hearing. if that is the case are they hard top spec'd ? just a thought.

well it's still going on. again i tore into the carb , taking it apart and cleaning it and reassembled it [again]. the weber guide says as a last resort i should check the fuel tank venting system and to check a shop manual but my chiltons doesn't say how to . so how does one check a venting...

i put a 94 tub on my cj that came with the shoulder belts front and rear , better roll bar , and put the power brakes on the cj as well. not to mention the rust hadn't eaten through all the floors seat mounts.

so i'm running a weber 32/36 on the cjs 258 and am thinking about putting on a manual fuel pressure regulator and guage on the ol' girl to help with flooding when riding angles on the trail . anyone have any luck with these ? i know it's no fuel injection but every little bit helps.

84 cj w/ 258 , weber 32/36 dgev carb. new fuel pump and filter with no line obstructions. idles fine but when accelating in gear it acts like it's running out of gas untill i get out of the skinny petal and a few seconds later it clears it self up and idles fine again. the weber guides...
