    Loping Motor or Bucking Bronco

When I first moved here, I had a few neighbors come over to say howdy. This is a picture of what they saw, when I opened the door. Most said they thought it was a bomb. I was experimenting with Nano-structure plating. Did tell a few kids it was an atom bomb.

    Carburetor to buy

Amen, He has already picked up the cam. He said he doesn't think it will lope too much at slow speed. He is pretty well known in my location, for his engines, and shine... That is one pretty carb. The Edelbrock intake looks nice too.

    Loping Motor or Bucking Bronco

Absolutely, I cleaned it best I could, and laid the soldering iron to it. Good as new. Yea, the problem is, a lot of chemicals gas when heated. The stuff I ran in mine was very stinky, and a little explosive. I blew the door off my first oven, after I almost poisoned the family. It is best to...

I ran a test with phenol formaldehyde resin "Bakelite" in our oven. I didn't know it had dripped a little. That night the wife made us all brownies. That is the way to get your very own lab oven.

Well there is your problem. I still am going to build my own, but the old one had a cracked solder joint. So for now I have repaired it, and waiting till my potting epoxy cures. Tomorrow will be the day of truth.... And yes, I cured my fresh epoxy in my oven, that is a good thing of being...

    Loping Motor or Bucking Bronco

WOW, I found the problem. As a friend says, "NEVER OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS". I'm ashamed to say, It is my ICM..... Pulled a plug out, laid it on the radiator, plugged it into the coil, popped the cover off the distributor, and with the switch on, triggered the ICM. Weak yellow flame. Traded the...

    Carburetor to buy

I talked to my neighbor yesterday. He stands by his size to get. We'll know in about a week. I'll definitely let you know, how it turns out. I found out both of my 304s have never been rebuilt, and both are 1978. That was great. He will send all the stuff out in a few days for balancing.

    304 amc

Several things to check. It is normal that they over shoot, when they first get hot. Mine will about peg for a few minutes. Then it will drop to normal. If yours is staying high, you have something going on. One big no no is using regular water in any cooling system. Over time the minerals will...

Is a Jeep worth it? WTB

I knew someone would jump in that knew what they were talking about, I'll remember its not a stabilizer issue. Like most, someone told me that, and it stuck. Thanks for straightening that out. Tison

    Carburetor to buy

My neighbor told me what I needed. He builds race car engines. He is boring it out 30 over ,going to balance it, edelbrock intake. He sounds pretty confident about it. I have been told the jets can be changed out if need. But I am assured it is a good size for it. Heck, back in the 70s my...
