I told my dad to use sea foam on him 89 wrangler thats been sitting. He decided to pour it down the carb instead of thru the vacuum line. Now its boggin' like never before. What should i do???

I have a '89 YJ and i just finished rebuilding the carb. After putting it back on, it sounds like its sucking air. It never did this before. i thought that it might be a vacumn line? The rebuild kit called for 2 gaskets at the base of the carb. does this sound right??? it seemed like they...

1075099 My wrangler has a 2.5" pro comp sus. lift with a 1" shackle lift. I run 33's. I bought my jeep with the lifts on it, but if i had the chance to do it over, i would do with a 4" suspension lift with 33's. I dont have enough room with my 33's now.[addsig]

1075149 It is a 1989 4.2L The black tube is fairly small, with some kind of 90 degree black rubber fitting that looks broken off. I found it on the passenger side, not the driver side by the gas cap.[addsig]
