    shifting

1065404 Yes this is possible, and no it won't harm your clutch or transmission, IF!! you do it right. You have to match your RPM's. Say 50 mph is 3000 RPM's in forth and 2500 RPM's in fifth you would have to be quick or just rev the engine to match those RPM's. My taught me this when I first...

    A true 'jeeper'

1065913 Like most, my music ranges. Usually I am bumpin' some seriouse Techno (AK1200, Dune), but then I have also been known to blast anything from some real old-school Hank Williams Sr. to Linkin Park, and on rare occasions even alittle Rap. I just love the look as the littleimports look...

so i lost my knife last night, what do i get now?

1067592 I am a huge fan f the CRKT series and also carry a Gerber. The Gerber has a pouch that hooks to your belt so that may not be what you are looking for. Either one is a good knife though. I usually go to the knife shops in the mall and check out what is on sale they have some good blades...

1067608 I don't understand how the 31's chewed up your fender flares. I have 31's without a lift on my '93 YJ and they don't even touch the flares. Maybe there is something else wrong with the set up that guy had.[addsig]

1067615 The fact that I have yet to find any mud here in South VA could be why I haven't chewed up my flares yet. For your sake I hope that is the only problem, nothing worse than buying a new rig only to fall into problems right away.[addsig]

1067617 Actually everything I have read says that 31's will fit on a stock YJ with only a little rubbing on tight turns. Guy's helps us out here with a little feedback please.[addsig]

Good protectant for dull fender flares?

1067811 I am not sure how well this works because i haven't tried it. I have heard that if you take a heat gun to your fender flares it will bring the color back out in them. I would imagine you wouldn't want to heat it up to much though. Like I said i haven't tried it yet but hey it's worth a...

31" tires too big for 4 banger?

1071910 Snitty hit the nail on the head with removing the cone. However, I did notice, or maybe only felt what I want ed to notice, more power on the take-off and acceleration. it's free and easy to do, took my all of about 5 minutes.- Chris[addsig]
