    87 Wrangler 4cyl Hyd Slave Clutch Question

    Why don't you just replace the whole clutch if it a continuious problem. I just replaced mine recently and it made a world of difference. WOW! Maybe the pressure plate has collapsed if you have no clutch pressure.

    I have heard yall fellow CJer's talk about replacing the ignition in your jeep's. What kind of warning signs do you get before it needs to be replaced? How much? What kind is best to get? It seems like I have heard people say it seems like carb trouble..... but it is the ignition.

    Potential Mods to CJ-7...Recommendations?

    I agree the price is too high. I have an 83' CJ and when I bought it it was pretty much stock. Very low milage. How many miles does it have? I think upgrades won't run you very much. I recently upgraded to the weber carb... carb on mine was about $380 and install was $180. not too bad. Pleased...

    yup, sounds like a vacuum leak. usually old hoses with dry rot and whistle. that trick with the carb spray will do the trick I have done it and it works

    Richloam is super wet, Went up about 3 weeks ago and it ahs done nothing but rain since. Just to let you know i might try to go, but the road is washed out bad at East Tower camps coming in of the north loop. Godd luck if I can not make it.
