    BIG TIRES!

I used 1/2" shackles and 1" body lift with TJ flares. This was my 86 CJ7 it cleared 33's on stock off set rims just fine. I did trim the back of the front wheel well. The only problem I had with it is it there it is all lifted, big tires and yet it looks mainly stock. Petty I know.

    Losing Oil Pressure Really bad

With oil it should be about 20-25 at idle. I have seen older worn engine with a little less. Mine will run less when I get close to the oil change date, I have since but up my schedule a bit. I bet your will figure it out when you check it with a gauge. Real tool are always more reliable then...

    Exhaust Me

Yup, the stock tail pipe is actually flattened about 10- inches and goes right between the leaf spring and the frame. It exits right behind the tire. facing at a little angle towards back. If your springs are lifted you don't need to worry about a flattened pipe. Nice aroma huh?? Mine about...

    BFG M/Ts or Wrangler MT/Rs

Sadly I have been looking at my Jeep with 3.5 inches of lift and it needs new tires. I have brand new BFG 31 AT's and rims, so that kinda sucks. Kumho's ?? TJ flares on a YJ

I put a set on my 86 CJ7 and they worked awesome. I had to trim the back of the front inner fender well to clear my 33's at full stuff. But a mere 1 1/2 to 2 inches of lift and they cleared perfectly. I bought mine from the dealer and spent over $350 before the flares could be found anywhere. I...

    Exhaust Me

A very common CJ problem. If the tail pipe isn't turned out between the left leaf spring and pointed out the side this can happen. Also during down shifting you can get the smell from the engine compartment through the air filter. Mine is horrible during down shifting. I have a open air filter...

Master Cylinder is weird. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Well here is an update. I filed the top of my other reman leaking master cylinder. Got is nice flat and smooth. I also took it apart and lengthened the push rod using simple washers between the end of the plunger and the rod. I put it so that almost any pressure shows the the seals passing the...

ok,CJ7 is stalling at idle now...what to look for first?

Yes and no. They are mainly the same set up with a few parts that very like the manifold itself. (4.2 head vs 4.0 head.) No if you swapped heads out too, big power gain!!! That kit is the full blown 4.0 liter kit, there are much cheaper versions out there. I have the cheapest one out there and...

    What to do next.

Solve that wobble yet??? Lockers aren't a waste with those axles. You just have to not abuse them and they will be fine. But I too like the bad to the bone rockers and bumper idea!!!! I'd lock the rear, and make the rockers and bumpers with the rest and then you have ALL of it.
