    Anyone else stuck at home?

While I've never had a fear of any saw I did see a table saw being used on TV the other day and my first thought was the guy's fingers were too close to the blade. .... mine have often been closer.

    Anyone else stuck at home?

It was a lapse of judgement while using a table saw. Recovering from the second surgery is a lot harder than the first. Pain isn't bad but I've been extremely tired. It is difficult to do much with one hand. My wife has to help me bathe, get dressed, cut up my food, etc.

i had the first surgery monday, it was just to put my fingers back together enough to keep them alive. tuesday they will try to reconstruct my ring finger and fuse the last joint on my middle finger. recovery could take 6 months. in the meantime i have to try and figure out how to do things with...

    04 Grand Cherokee 4.0L

Double check all your electrical connections. I was stumped yrs ago with my 76 F100 4x4. I had a short section of the wire harness that checked good when you put the probes on it but was dead when you took the probe off. I had replaced most of the ignition components before I discovered those...

Have you narrowed the rattle down to that area? Exhaust is probably the #1 cause of rattles.

    low speed hesitation

Seems to drive ok although I haven't put more than a dozen miles on it. I wish when I had bought my code reader I had spent a little more. Apparently the next model is the one that also reads ABS and air bag info. Supposedly it gives specific info on which speed sensor is bad or failing without...

    low speed hesitation

The tire pressures were good, none were under 34 psi. I mis spoke earlier, the light comes on when the tires get down to 33 psi. They all have 35psi now. I replaced the rear left side wheel speed sensor. I didn't have time to test drive it other than going to the mailbox but there was no...

    low speed hesitation

Steering wheel is centered, stock suspension. Tire pressure light hasn't come on so I assume all tires have at least 35psi. I check everything out when the sun comes up ..... and before the rain comes down.

    low speed hesitation

About a week ago I noticed when I turned right on the last switchback coming up my driveway that my jeep momentarily lost power. At first I thought maybe my foot slipped off the gas pedal. Twice today while coming back to town it did it also. Both times I was at a near stop making a right hand...

    Clutch Issue or Worse?

I don't think I'd try putting it into 1st gear going much faster than 5mph. I've driven a lot of old vehicles that had little shifting issues but once you learned them and how to bypass the issue they shifted well. Sometimes it's helpful to be just barely rolling before you put it in first or...

    Leak

Ya, they are easy to remove/install. Probably the hardest part of the job is getting the nut loose. If it's stuck, spray some PB Blaster on it - maybe wait a day for it to work.

What surprised me is you don't have to have a knee cap. Several yrs ago my BiL fell and broke is knee cap in two. The first surgeon didn't do a good job, the cap was rebroke twice in rehab. On the 5th surgery they removed his knee cap and threw it away because of infection. His recovery after...

    Anyone else stuck at home?

Our grandson was the only one who's job was affected by covid. They shut down and he got a raise drawing unemployment. He is now back to work. All our kids kept working although masks and social distancing has been in effect.

2005 TJ - only speed 3 and 4 on my fan / AC

Before the blower motor went out on the XJ I used to have it would struggle to turn on the slow speeds but worked on high [or was it the other way around??] Anyway by the time it got bad enough to replace it would only run on one speed. Replacing the motor fixed it but your issue sounds different.
