Yea I thought about using the carbureted 4.3 and just buying the adapter for my trans but I wasn't sure which would be better power wise. I know if you get a good 4.3 and build it right they can be a good reliable motor and fast also but you can't go wrong buying a 350 also.

It took me 4 days to figure out my heat. I finally got it working tho. It was one simple wire from the battery that wasn't connected to the high and low switch and a blown fuse. It was a simple fix but took forever to figure it out.

I would give it a good tune up. New spark plugs, distributor cap, spark plug wires, oil change, and possibly check all the fluids just to make sure there clean and don't need to be refilled. Just a few suggestions.
