    A mild Renegade build

I believe he found the lift on eBay, the guy he bought it from had it but hadn’t installed it and his Renegade got totaled. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

    A mild Renegade build

Thanks, I think his next upgrades (aside from finishing and installing the hood) will be to add a light bar (bars) he’s getting from someone on a Renegade Facebook group. Most of the upgrades he has planned out appearance oriented. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Yes I do, I still have the center factory hoop and windshield spreader bars. I’m going to add a front cage kit sometime prior to taking it off-road. It may go on before the frame replacement or after just depends. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

I added a rear roll bar to the “bed” of the TJ. I started with a CJ-5 full roll cage I scored on Craigslist for $25. I cut it down and tweaked it till it fit the TJ. I made some captured nut plates to bolt it in and give me something to use to tie the cage to the frame after I swap frames. I...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

I fitted a Grant wheel I got from my brother. I like the look and fit. As the TJ is going to be primarily an off road toy I don’t mind deleting the airbags as I don’t want hit with an airbag if I hit an obstacle too hard. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

It was finally above freezing for a bit so I dug out the TJ to put on the MBRP cat back exhaust I picked up for it. It was an open box return to amazon so I scored it for super cheap...not sure about the tip and during the frame swap I will probably tweak the routing a bit (I haven’t had a full...

    Backseat cover for JK

I have CoverKing seat covers in my JK. They’re the pleather style and wipe clean easily. They were also pretty reasonable as well, I got the fronts on sale for $80 for the pair and I believe the rear was $100-ish. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Finally got my fender flares on. I’ve had the fronts on for two weeks but haven’t had a chance to do the rears. What slowed me down is that I needed to trim the rear fenders out a bit and figure out where to mount the rears as I was trying to match the height with the “high-lined” fronts...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Thanks for looking those up. I will check them out. I like these pins a lot better than the generic auto part store pins. I plan to cut and weld in some sheet metal filler pieces to clean up the fender to grille gaps. I also need to cut off a bit more of the hood and re-weld it as well as weld...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

In spite of their small size they seem to be super strong. I haven’t noticed any hood flutter with them as of yet. I’m going to be adding flares to the fenders and possibly changing up my front turn signals back to factory (🤞) before I store it for the winter. Sent from my iPhone using...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Made a little more progress this past weekend... I ended up having to use hood pins to hold my hood down. I didn’t want to go the hood pin route but I was unable to make my latches work with the shortened hood in such a fashion that I would be happy with them. Sent from my iPhone using...

    The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Got the driver fender on and trimmed the hood down, I saved the pieces I trimmed off the hood so I can weld them on the bottom edge to “finish” the edge. Sent from my iPhone using Jeepz.com mobile app

2005 tj, putting factory hardtop on a non factory hardtop jeep , wiring harness?

Check Craigslist for people parting out tj’s, in Ohio there seem to be 3 or 4 people that do. That might be your best source to get all of the parts you need. Be warned they seem to think they are setting on a gold mine with there pricing, however it may be your only option. Sent from my...
