    Yup, pretty simle for sure - this day and age we take everything for granted and don't apply our gray matter to these theorys...what with hot running water, electricity, battery power, fuels and so on until something happens like Katrina. Then the most taken-for-granted things become necessary...

    RE: moving to NC The Mrs bought a brand spanking new 1977 CJ-5 for her graduation present back then - we still have it in the shop and are using parts off of it (sat for 14 years and sheet metal disintegrated!)for our recently aquired 1979 CJ-5... she got every option available at the time...

    I believe that the T-18 4 speed was only offered behind the I-6 engine back then - It most probably has the T-150 3 speed unless someone has swapped in the T-18 - Dana 20 transfer case - front disc brakes were first offered on the 1977 CJ-5 me believes. LBR

    What to coat frame with: undercoating vs. bed liner Whenever you replace a used thinner steel cover like that or oil pan, timing chain cover. stock valve covers (etc.), it is a good idea to invert them on a soft piece of wood and with the small end of a ball-peen hammer or small socket dimple...
