Nice job. Looks VERY tight. Have you got the engine to torque enough to see if it touches the fender?

88 XJ rough idle starting to go crazy

I agree with ChuckerMudd :p. IAC or vac. leaks could be culprit. To do a quick check for vac. leaks "spritz" a little starting fluid here and there around the lines and connections. If you hear the rpm's pick up a little, investigate that area a little further.

Anyone else have a family member suffering from Twilight-mania?

You're not missin' nuttin' HiHood. My wife's not crazy about them, she just watched #2 cause she saw #1. She has no plan on seeing #3. I slept both with the exception 1/2 hour of #1.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a YJ Grill works too. Then you could have a bad-ass Jeep....you know one with square lights.

    oil pressure acting up

I had the same things happening awhile back. Gauge was doing funky things........it would read REAL high then VERY low at odd times. The gauge will fluctuate according to your engines rpms, but extreme changes low/high are not right. If you try the sender route (and I would) make sure the...

    oil pressure acting up

I'm guessing it's the sending unit. $15 fix, if not cheap enough for a try.

    Newb buying at auction.

MOST of these cars/trucks are passed to the auctions from dealers that got them on trade-ins. They can't sell them on thier lots 'cause they don't want to look like a used car lot . They have them sold for a commision. Most are NOT looked over or "checked out". You can bet that if...

    Its HOT here

Dang.....and I was complaining about 92 and high humidity. I LOVE the winter time myself. I would rather it be 20 than 90. Sick, ain't it?

    What's your day job?

Do you do the killin' or the skinnin'? I could do the processing part:sawzall:, but getting up everyday with a hot, fresh Cup-of-Joe and killing pigs would take a "special" person I think. I've got nothing wrong with it:cookout:, it's just not for me I guess. If I did do it, I think maybe...

    Durabak liner ????

I've never used the Durabak, but I have used Hurculiner. I would guess they are close in performance. The tip I have to offer is: Preparation. The whole process depends on the prep work before hand. You have to rough the surface (some people media-blast), and clean all (I mean ALL) of the...
