RE: Sunday Night I was just wondering if anybody knows if the 249 and 242 are the same overall size. And what I mean is the length from where it mate with the transmission to the output. So if I were to do a 249 to 242 swap, would I have to shorten or lengthen my rear driveshaft???

Hey I have a 95 zj 5.2L v8 w/ the all wheel drive and as I am slowing down I am hearing this clunk at 15 mph like clockwork! I was just wondering what this clunk is and has anyone else had this problem. Any help would be great. Thanks
