Shouldn't be an issue, I'm running the stock radiator and 160 degree thermostat, it never even thinks of overheating.

I have an '04 Ram with the Hemi.It's easy to get spoiled by it.Mine gets around 11-12 MPG,but it's full time 4WD and running 35s.

Don't know about your Jeep,but on my Dodge pickup,while in neutral or park with no load on the engine,it cuts out around 3000.When in gear and driving,it tachs out at 5600.

x2 on the DUI. Was one of the first things I done to my Jeep,really woke it up,and simplifies things a lot.Just one wire to hook up.

I have an Edelbrock Performer intake with a 600cfm Performer carb on my 360.Big improvement over stock,but I've heard the Holley Truck Avenger carb does better at steep angles.

It's official name is Caroline,'cause she came from S.Carolina.Most of the time it's just "the Jeep",or "the good Jeep" if it's parked near my old basket case '74.

I tend to lean towards the CJ-5s and 7s of the AMC era,but I don't think you can really go wrong with any of them.8)
