I'm pretty sure that I have an exhaust leak somewhere before the cat. I hear what I believe to be exhaust noise, and can definitely smell it under the hood. I'm planning on just replacing the headers and the pipe between there and the cat (downpipe? sorry, I'm a computer geek, not a mechanic...
