    1985 amc 20 trac lock....

    I have a trac lock out of a amc 20...it has 67000 original miles... wanting to go to a spool or locker..It is out of a wide trac...not sure if the splines are the same... $270.00 if i pull it out and ship it... $325.00 if i rebuild it with new clutches... I will get pics up tommorow...

    I run a empi 32/36 witch is the same as a weber 5115 i belive...i like it but make sure u get a regulator!!! 3 to 3.5 psi.... stock jeep mechanical pumps run 7 to 8 psi....

    cj-5 . what new automatic trans is best?

    Thats what i was thinking...so they should fit in a 5 also because of that....i will have to check and see about that...i was going to do the 4.3/700r4 swap but sold the blazer instead...just holding out for a cheap cj7 and swap all my stuff over to it....

    I was thinking that they did come in the 5's..... maybe not... As for your driveshaft do u have a lift??? I have a cj5 with 4in's and 35's and my shaft is short with a t15 and a dana 20....how is ur pinion angle????

    Yea the cj5 did come with a auto but it was with a v8 and a quadratrack...the amc 20 is offset and the motor sat clear to the front...still used a short drive shaft...and then when u lift it u going to pay big bucks for a driveshaft to fit it...if u can get one.....

    I have a set of super swamper truxus mt tires 35,12.50 with maybe 50 miles on them....They are mounted on 15x10 mickey thompson black steel wheels i have caps to go with them... they are 5-5 1/2 bolt pattern with 4 in backspacing...came off my cj... need them gone....$850.00 picked up might help...

    I have had real good luck with d_ck cepek fun country II's. There quite and trail very well havent had any trouble in the snow either...
