got a bad T150 bolted to a D20. also have an extra T15 that bolts to a D300 (texas bolt pattern) Can I simply swap the T150 out for the T15? Or maybe Swap both the T150 & D20 out for the T15 & D300? Looking for the simplest swap with no modifications. thanks,

I have a '78 CJ5 with a 258 six cyl, T150 3sp, and a D20 transfer case. T150 trans is stuck in 3rd gear...can't get the top cover off. I have a T15A trans and a D300 transfer case that came with the jeep. Can I swap the T15A in place of the T150? I know that the T15A looks about an inch...

Clutch works, but transmission is stuck in 3rd gear and can't move the shifter. Pulled up to a stop sign and pushed in on clutch but the shifter won't budge from 3rd gear. Had to slip the clutch pretty bad to get it home. Anyone had this problem before????
