    Grinding when I shift

If it only grinds between those two gears, that makes me think syncronizers. Give the transmissions fluid a level check. Might be a bit low. Does the clutch peadal still feel as stiff as it normally does?

    Your thoughts.

I run conduit almost everday. It's made to be ductile. Even rigid pipe is made to bend, although it is MUCH stiffer. It won't work well for a rack that needs to meet a certain load capacity.

YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A REAL JEEP IF...

True, every scratch or dent on my rig has a fun story behind it. Also, the kids can wack the side of the Jeep with and errant ball now and then and know that Dad's not gonna get upset. Those kind of dents leave good stories too. But, if a baseball wacked the side of the Willy's though............

    Loud grind

If they just replaced the cat/muffler, maybe they didn't get the front and back ends on the exhaust back in-line where they whereand something got wonky. Exhaust does seem unlikely to me also, but it seems fishy that the problem started soon after they worked on it.

    no oil pressure

If the dip stick shows fine, then I bet it's the sending unit. I'd replace it (a $10 gamble), and if you don't get pressure right off the bat on start up, then I'd look else where. Could also be a bad ground in the dash, but not likely if the other gauges are working fine.

I have just three words for you

    Nope, you're second.

    kill switch hook up

I would put the switch somewhere besides under the dash. If you connect into the ignition switch wire (the one that passes through your keyswitch), your talking a much smaller switch, both physically and amp. wise. This little switch can be hid well in a center console, under a back seat, way up...
