I bought a helicoil kit at Napa, had never done a helicoil before. It went a lot easier than I thought, did not have to take knuckle off to drill/re-size hole. M8 1.25 is a pretty small bolt for this type off application, too bad they didn't start with something bigger.

That's what I'm thinking too. It started as 400 for the solenoid, when that didn't fix it, it was 400 more. I think they charge about 2000 to rebuild. Scott

Valve in the valve body was sticking. They cleaned it up and it works now. Bill came to $800. 2 soleniods for valves, trans filter and new fluid, and then pull the pan again to clean the sticking valve. Now I have 800 in a trans with 125,000 on it, might have been better off in long run to put...

I ended up using an aftermarket flat 4 harness that just plugs between one of the connector blocks. If anyone has any ideas about that flasher I asked about first, I'd still like to know, it would be nice to fix the factory trailer wiring.

My right turn signal does not work on my trailer wiring harness. I found 2 flashers behind the cargo wall with all the wiring harnesses. They were hanging down in the bottom of the rear fender. one of them is corroded very bad, and the wires were broke off. Parts stores and dealer were no help...

I just noticed this on my 2000 Cherokee, the front driveshaft turns when I spin a front tire. I jacked it up to check because when I turn sharply, the front wheels scrub the pavement, and the vehicle rocks slightly. Does one of the hubs unlock when it is in 2H? I guess that shouldn't matter...
