Think I got it fixed! Found a broken o ring in throttle body (injector o ring). Had gas in my oil so I changed oil and now hopefully everything is good.

Are there any jeep mechanics around Russellville area? The guy I been using isn't finding my problem.

I will check the thread out. I heard that Rotella was good oil.

My jeep is about ready for an oil change. This is my first jeep and would like some input on what's the best oil to put in it. It's a 2.5 L with 139k miles. Synthetic oil or not? 10w30 or what? Thanks!

I was told today my problem was my tempature sending unit is that possible?

Your luck sounds like mine lol! If it weren't for bad luck we would have no luck at all I guess. I really don't think mine is a serious problem but you can't never tell.

Thanks and I sure hope so to. As much bad luck I had lately I just hope it isn't nothing serious and expensive to fix.

Yea I'm off work Thursday and I'm going to start replacing all vac lines. Two out of four to my TB is bad and also one to the EGR is bad. One going to air filter and map sensor bad also. Basically all bad!

No mods to the motor. When I bought the jeep back in Jan of this year the guy I got it from just had s new muffler put on. Ran perfect until a couple weeks ago. The cat is still on there.

no when I kill it it dies right then like it suppose to. It's just real sluggish when taking off. Can smell a light gas odor. Starts up good also. No back firing at any time. No popping either I did find some dry rot vac lines today will that do it?

He also hooked it up to a diagnostic machine and it showed no codes.

When I take off and change gears it is real sluggish . Took it to a mechanic he said over fueling and fouling my plugs out, he said gas is just pouring out of injector. Be about 2 weeks before he can look at it I really can't afford to wait that long. He wasn't for sure what was causing it...
