    small block

The counterweights are not different in the 305 vs. the 350. The only difference is the bore like stated above. However, if you bore the 305 out to 4 inches you will end up digging into water jackets and have to put sleaves in the block to make it work. I have tried it on three different...

    small block

actually all of the parts minus the block and pistons are interchangeable. The stroke on a 305 and a 350 are the same. The difference in the two motors is the bore diamter. If you need to know which specific parts will interchange just ask and I will let you know.

    Alternator wiring

The first thing we need to know is which type of alternator are you using. I would recomend the old style gm. It has a plug in on the top with two wires and one stud on the back for the battery wire. If this is the alt. that you are using you need to run a wire from the battery to the...

    72 cj5 clutch cable

Hello all, Just wondering if anyone has any info/diagrams on how the cluth cable on a 72 cj5 is to be routed and the pieces needed. After a 350 conversion and a body lift, the z bar setup that the previous owner replaced the cable with doesn't want to work properly. I would like to go back to...

    converting a.c. pump

1058724 correct me if I am wrong, but don't the old yorks have an oil reservoir in them. If that is true why would you need an external oiling device. I could see needing something with a newer compressor where they don't have the oil reservoir built into them. [addsig]

    converting a.c. pump

1058917 that sounds like a really good set up. Thank you for the information. I am going to try the setup, but I will probably use the york style setup do to the fact that I can snag one from work for next to nothing, compared to the price of the newer ones!!![addsig]

    Cat back reccomendations? Rustys? Dynomax?

1058922 As far as the mufflers go, I have sold a lot of both. More times than not, I never hear anything back from the customers that buy the dynomax systems. The customers that buy the flowmasters always come back and thank me later. Our company also handles borla, but no one ever seems to...

    Jeep needs Paramedic

1059065 I'm surprised that you guys think that the RS5000's are a really rough riding shock. Though the are stiffer than stock, I don't think that they are that bad. I have them on my 96 cherokee and the ride is actually quite comfertable. I had some gabrial gas truck shocks on it before...
