    Been on and off this last few weeks. Got the tub all welded up and mounted on the frame. Have two more mounts to make and then I'll be working on the role cage.

    checked the engine this weekend and yes it is a 258. Would have been disappointed had it turned out someone swapped in the 232! Thanks again for the heads up cause I wouldn't have checked to make sure till I needed to install parts, lol

    I did vin code look up on it, and the vin code says it came originally with the 258, but I will verify tonight. Will it say 258, or 232 right on the block?

    Depending on the year it could be a multi function switch. Or your light switch is self.

    I know one thing for sure, there are a lot of similarities and a ton of difference between building a jeep that you wanna take down the road, and building a race car you wanna go fast in a circle! lol

    With my little helper by my side I got the body separated from the frame. I was able to save some of the tub, and will use the rest as a template to rebuild off of. I will be reusing the hood, firewall, transmission tunnel, and front grill. The rest of the body I will be remaking myself.
