Cannot get blower working 2000 xj

Hi long time no see! My 2000 xj blower won't blow. Resistor is new. Blower is new. Switch panel tested with dvm and IMO isn't the issue. When doing 80 mph, the heat blows hot through the vents or floor, OR if I switch the center vacuum dial to AC it blows cold, but only if I'm going fast...

    Buying a 76 cj7

Thank guys! Regarding the wiring, I know exactly what you mean! From the pictures it's as clean as 1976. It even has the stock AM radio, and no aftermarket gauges hanging under the dash that you commonly find in a 40 yr old vehicle which tells me behind the dash should just be the leads from...

    Buying a 76 cj7

Hi there! Been a while, sold my jeeps while back but now I'm considering another. Randomly found a 76 cj7 recently and the price is awesome assuming the seller is truthful. Says it will need full brakes, like everything but the pedal. Haven't physically seen it, only in pictures but I hope to...

cj rear crossmember body mounts rusted out HELL P

Almost done with this jeep. I learned recently I need to replace the rear cross member and C-channel thanks tto rust. Basically the body is unable to attach to the frame at the 2 rear mounts. So when driving it is loose and noisy. I bought a few 36" pieces of C- channel to replace the body...

    ? makes/models seats fit in 70s CJ7?

Hi. Still rebuilding my 78 cj7, and am looking to replace the bench seat for some buckets up front. I'm wondering what ....known makes and models... of cars or trucks have good fitting front seats to pull from a junkyard or buy on craigslist. Any advice would be great! Thank you.

Wanted 4 bbl intake for 304

Hi there. I'm rebuilding the heads for my 304 and I want a better flowing intake for when I put it back together. Ideally I'd like an aftermarket edlebrock but honestly just want a better flowing intake. Thanks, Ryan

    1979 CJ5 I'm new at this

Welcome. I agree that the OEM rollbars do more for looks than your safety. Check summit, jegs, racingjunk, and others for quality rollbar kits shipped to your door or a local speed shop or hotrod builder and have them make one for you.

SBC in a cj7 with quadratrac and offset rear amc20?

Sounds sacrilegious here but I don't to a lot of wheeling with this jeep compared to the yj I used to have -which was off road every time I saw a trail...I'd turn around and follow it lol ..all the time. I don't have faith in this thing, nor do I have the money I used to have. Money is the...

best way to remove rust from a rim?

I dunno about using a power drill and wire wheel... just use foil or a brillo pad, or if your patient use naval jelly as the others can leave scratches. Whatever you do, wax it when your done to seal it. You tube if you're still unsure.

SBC in a cj7 with quadratrac and offset rear amc20?

I've hinted before how I wish I had a SBC 350 in my cj instead of the AMC 304. Cheaper power, abundant parts locally, and a ton of aftermarket support, plus I know it better. Anyway. The other day I was attempting to fix a exhaust manifold (header) leak that was driving me insane. After removing...

cj with lift springs unstable on road

I've since fixed the crazy steering. That or I've gotten used to it. I aligned it with a tape measure, loosened the shackles a hair, greased the springs, and tightened the steering box. It rides well for what it is. No more complaints. Thanks everyone for chiming in, I hope to aid someone with...

cj with lift springs unstable on road

Sweet thanks man. I like the idea of a pan hard bar up front and the shackle reverse is a great idea. Just so happen to be selling a miller 135 amp mig for a friend who says I can use it for whatever and sell it when I'm done. Now would be a good time for the shackle reverse right, and a...
