I've got a 97 cherokee 4.0 sport with what I believe is a bad NSS. The guy I bought it from said he would occasionaly have to putt in neutral to get it to start. 95 YJ wiring question

stupid thought... does your horn work? If it was wrapped around the steering column it could only be a few things, but I suppose thats just where it could've ended up. Like everyone else says I'd lean towards cruise but maybe fog lights or rear defrost on a hard top?

Rear Disc Brake Swap In XJ

1996 Sport, I figured as much. That was going to be next question. How does it affect the parking brake and can I just take the parking brake setup out of the donor grand cherokee? Not terribly opposed to losing the parking brake all together but it would be nice to have since it's a stick.

94 grand Cherokee won't stay running

far as the crankshaft sensor goes it might stay running it might not. depends if it's flaky or not. I can tell you this, if your going to replace it spend the extra money and get one from the dealer. Aftermarket crank sensors, especially in chryslers can be pretty shitty (mainly why they are...

check the ground wire on your fuel sending unit. I have a 96 XJ that did damn near the same thing. might want to hit up a junkyard. I had the sagging door problem on my 96 XJ and due to that it was missing clips, rods and the little plastic piece that engages or disengages the handle. I found all the parts in the junkyard and they all ran me like 10 bucks. I welded up both hinges and...

SOLVED! My XJ is alive and kicking again. After much poking around, ignition, wires, plugs, etc.. We thought the ground on the fuel sending unit looked a bit rusty and questionable. After taking a closer look it was hardly connected, hanging on by a thread masked by a small washer. Long story...

oh also real quick.... found a 93 cherokee just up the road from my house (better body condition than mine), 150K miles, 4.0 auto, pretty bone stock. Need Help With 96 XJ

Well I was poking around the coil and found this connector. It supplies power and ground directly to the coil. I removed the battery, disconnected the grounds associated with the area as well as the wires connected to the alternator coming off the same harness to make removing it easier and I...
