What year did jeep put the auto overdrive in the TJ?

I want to remove the 5speed and replace with auto(999). Will I have to change computers? I know that I might have to change the input shaft on the transfercase. Anything else I might be missing?

Looking at the new TJ Unlimited. Does anyone have the good, bad or ugly on them? Thinking about getting one. It reminds me of the cj-8 but with all the extras.

While digging through my tool box I found a new oil pump for a 4.0. I was going to install it in my 1991 but I pulled the motor instead. It's still in the original box and plastic wrapping. If anyone wants it just pay shipping and I'll send it to you. :wink:

3 core radiator with shroud . It came out of my 1991 renegade with 4.0 with auto trans. Worked fine, no leaks when I took it out. 65.00 obo.

Complete 1991 4.0 and auto transmission (a999) with 190,000 miles. The motor ran when I pulled it out. Just getting alot of blow by. The transmission was rebuilt at 50,000 miles. Want to sell it whole for 450.

I'm thinking about buying one of these (1200lb) but not sure. I'm herd the horror stories of power steering pump failures on the old ones. I might add a secondary pump for the winch. Just looking for input. :? :?

Has anyone seen this before? Gauges and dash lights work fine untill you turn the lights on. The dash tottaly shuts down and all gauges zero out. I figure it's a short. Not sure where to start. :?

Has anyone tried the anti spring wrap pads from RE when they did SOA conversion? I made track bars for mine but I was curious if they work or not.
