I never said i was going to do this to my jeep i just asked if it would work. and if you read the whole thread you would realize that i understand how incredibly ridiculous the tire welding would be, and you would also realize the reasoning behind the headers going up and not backwards like the...

I probably won't do any of the stuff to the jeep that i was talking about on the other thread but i'll put on a regular intake because the canister one is broken/rusted.(good run on sentence!)

I not messin with you i dont know if i clarified this but I dont plan on mud bogging or doing extreme off-roading with the jeep just driving it on the weekends on some minor off-road trails just because i can,and now your going to tell me why the hell are you doing this, for what i need it for...

Sparky... No it won't even be driven within 2mi's of a main road. I've sort of scrapped the welded tire thing and will probably just hack away at the metal. and adding more spings or hockey pucking it are 2 things i've heard of but didn't consider. good suggestions. Thanks.

I just thought it would be cool to do. neither of these things are necessary they are just "I wonder if it will work" kind of mods. and they'll look cool in my opinion.

Because i'm a loser and i don't have the money to buy a new exhaust and i don't want to buy one so i figured it would be easier and cheaper to just make them go up instead of back!

RE: straight style headers? Why not? the existing muffler is rusted off. It would be cool, Maybe. I guess Icould just cut of the exhaust right at the end of the headers.

RE: Dieseling on shut down the existing rim would be like an adapter to mount the new larger tire on to the jeep. Not any particular size tires just larger ones that would not directly mount to the axle.

NOPE It's a 65' cj-3b(not that that matters). It's a beater. Now that i think of it cutting shit instead of welding shit will work and is alot less retarded looking!
