swapping in a yj bar into my cj and need a set of the female ends for the seat belts, the set i have came out of a 91.

Mine is also a problem, what a shitty design, It sounds like the gear is meshing to deep to the flywheel, and there is no way to shim it away.......... I am thinking off drilling out the lower mounting hole so I can let it pivot on the top one so it can swing away from the flywheel giving it...

The new pump or filter wernt the problem tough, It was that the jeep sat for 4 years without running and the gas line rusted, me taking it for its first ride seemed to dislodge all the rust in the line. Mech or electrical, crap in your gas is crap in your gas.....

Everything was 1 week old before this happened, but I grabbed a new fuel filter for it on the way home tonight, I already cleaned the tank and will be putting it back in tonight and hopefully I can disconnect the carb feed line, let it spin over till I get good gas again and try again......

Well now that I basicly finished all the paint/body/wiring/broken seat issues I decided to put a new clutch in, finished that no big problems, just the usual input shaft froze in the pilot shaft bushing, take an hour to pry the two apart deal...... But on to the test drive, clutch was great, ran...

Hey thanks for the compliments guys, been thinking of maybe trying my hand at fabbing up a tube bumper I can weld and have access to a bender, but I think I might just bite the bullet and buy the one that matches the rear which was in the front seat of the jeep when I bought it.

anyone have a locker in amc 20 yeah I gotta do those too, they were wrapped with rope when I got the jeep, probably sand and paint them too today.

The motor that is in it now is a 383 with a 671 blower, thats destined for the jeep, its big brother replacment is almost done, a 540 with an 871 blower. Crappy camera phone pic

Well I have to agree with you, after thinking it over and takeing in to consideration what Junkpile said about a good place to fade it, seeing the whole part of the body beneath the doors is going to be diamondplate, if I were to fade the 2 colors on the jeep I think would just look half one...
