im in the process of building a 9'' for my yj, my original plan was to run 4.88's but the closest ratio for the 9'' is 4.86, ive seen guys running 4.86 in the rear with 4.88's up front so obviously it can be done but am i setting my self up for disaster 10 or 15k down the road?

Rubicon Express makes a good product, Not too sure about the tj's but i picked up a 4'' kit for under 1000 bucks for my YJ, no troubles or complaints yet!!

a frind of mine has a has a sye kit and a cv driveshaft for 231, would i be able to make that driveshaft fit my application, provided it is long enough?

as far as i know, the 241or has a 23 spline input shaft,same as my 231. why would the shaft need to be changed out?

i saw a cherokee with 33's on it this weekend, His fenders were cut but he was running Warn bumpers front and rear, it looked really clean, you could barely tell that they were cut.

last week my timing chain jumped a tooth (im pretty sure anyway) when i opened up the casing there was about 3/4" of play. i put the #1 cylander to top dead center and marked the distributor. i put the new timing chain and gears in but i cant get anything to line up. Any suggestions?
