Hi, I have same problem with my 98 2.5 jeep and it has been diagnosed as the head gasket.

RE: smoke problem hi all thought id let you know that i had my jeep checked out and she needs new head gasket etc etc etc not as bad as i thought it was going to be but still a hefty chunk of money to fix - but lets face it, they are worth it. I LOVE MY JEEP XXXXXXXXXXX

but surelt that wont stop the leak, just the temp gauge going up?

The stoned reporter hiya Im not sure where its coming from. I had a garage look at it yesterday and they said i needed to replace thermostat and thermostat gasket. ?????
