According to the ad the front receiver is an option and I can't speak for the company but it would seem very easy not to have the lights put in. Over all I like it a lot. It's between this and the Smittybuilt XRC.

I also really like that front bumper. Looking forward to when you have on for the YJ.

Does the Jeep still have the trac bars? You might consider removing those. I removed mine and noticed an immediate improvement in the ride. If you don't like how it handles or rides you can always put them back. Won't cost anything but time.

I see you have the same year YJ as I do. Don't know if you've done it or not but one of the cheapest mods that I've done is the gas tank filler adjustment to turn it from the 15 gal. tank to a 20. I also moved the filler location from behind the license plate to the side, TJ style.

I first saw this bumper on JeepForum. The people that have bought it say it seems to be pretty sturdy. I'm going to wait for more feedback. Hard to beat the price though.
