My 89 Sahara does the same thing if you pump the clutch a few times it quits. I have heard a t/o bearing whine before but never knock like mine does.

Thanks for the replies do I have to remove the whole heater box or just the lid.Thanks in advance

Hello all I am new to the forums but recently purchased my first jeep an 89 wrangler sahara 4.2 5spd the questions I have are how hard is it to change the wiper motor and change the heater core. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
