    P0455 on Grand Cherokee

Thanks for your help on this matter. There is no fuel in the lines but was on the outside of the LDP and associated lines like topping off the tank and pouring out of the filler neck like you said. I bought this in 2008 so there is no telling how the previous owner filled the tank.

Before i replaced the LDP i had a P0453 i think. It was for a small leak detection. When I pulled the old...

    removing dash cover

You might try going to www . wjjeeps . com. This is a really cool and informative web site for 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee owners. It has just about anything you want to know from radio removal to specs. I had to list the web site that way because it would not let me post this reply if i had put it...

    a ticking into a knocking

Hello, it is a 4.0 and he went ahead and overhauled it. My wife is currently driving it and told me it runs great with no noise. I unfortunately won't be able to drive it for awhile because i am currently deployed to Kuwait so she keeps me informed on it.

    a ticking into a knocking

UPDATE: The knocking sound was caused by a piston. My wife had her brother check it out and he found that one of the pistons had broken the entire side off at a angle that ran from the connecting rod up through the oil screen and just millimeters under the rings. The rings both survived...
