Temp guage is indicating my 82 cj is overheating. stock 4.2. New waterpump, t-stat, flushed the system and new coolant, checked timing. Im beginning to think the gauge or sendeing unit is on the fritz. gauge will rise slowly just into the green, then quickly to the peg, any ideas?

Have a Weber 32/36 DGV prgressive two barrle with the adapters for a 258 six cylinder and a fuel regulator I want to get rid of. The carb works great, there is a chip out of one of the carb thoats where it fell off my bench but it doesnt effect the performance of the carb. My fustration level...
