Ive owned several of these winches for quite some time now. Never have had a problem with them. Use one on my trailer to winch a 13,500lb dozer almost once a week, it never grunts. The other on my jeep dosent get used alot but has worked perfect when did. Hope this helps

Good 4.0l out of a 1994 wrangler. pulled it about a week ago for a 318 swap. Motor runs great. Great oil pressure never been overheated. Also has a JB stainless header on it. Motor has 73,000 on her. Im looking for 300.00 OBO. Located in Long Island, New York

Thats a good choice. You probebly want to change the cable out though. Its not very good. It frays very easy. Good luck

Make sure that you check all the battery connections are good and clean. The newer model jeeps use permanent magnet starters so alot of the times the magnets break in the starters causing a clicking sound. Either change the ICM or find a scanner. On the chryslers you can test all the ignition componets easily. Most likley bad resistors in the ICM though. Good luck

Did you check the output on the pump, is it working? Ive seen clogged cats on them also changing the plugs helps sometimes too.
