    thanks for the info guys, yeah i've already planned on new rear driveshaft, WHICH LEADS ME TO ANOTHER QUESTION should i get a CV driveshaft when i do this? i will have some pinion angle when i do the axle swap if that mke any difference.

    well at one time a few months ago i was set on the D44, but around here i jsut can't find any, and the ones i can find people are wanting $450 for them compared to about $200 on an 8.8 which is a stronger axle, for the front i would love a 44, but they are hader to find than the rear ones are...

    good points, i'll upgrade to 4.56 or 4.88 within the year, so the 4.10 is jsut a quick fix, i'll probabaly go ahead and try 36 or 37's, when i can get some more moey this summer i'll throw in some new u-joints and chromolly shafts along with the new gearing, i'm hoping to keep the D30 to avoid...

    with 1500 you could buy a exploder 8.8 w/ 4.10's aleady in it for about 150-200 (thats bout how much they're goin for here anyway), its an easy swap so you and buddy could do it in a anfternoon, get a SYE for about 175-200 bucks, once again you can do that yourself, most come with really good...

    exhaust leak

    same problem here, good luck finding a 4.0L that DOESN'T have a leak somewhere on the header, usually aftermarket installed properly won't leak, but like Nick said flexing will eventually twist out another leak no matter how you fix it, i just learned ot live with it, as annoying as it may be

    I gotcha on this one, mine was the samw way, its black but fades out a lot with the sun aways hitting it. I had some Meguiars tire shine in a bottle. its not a gel, but its a prertty thick liquid. It worked GREAT!!! i would imagine any tire shine would do ok on it, but i put a decent coat on...
