91 wrangler start up issue

So I recently inherited a 91 wrangler 6 cyl. The jeep starts just fine when cold but once driving and it warms up it won't start. Battery is brand new. No crank at all just turn the key and interior lights go dim. Push start will get it to run. Occasionally after a min or 2 it will start like there was never an issue. Any help would be appreciated

Over all does the engine idle and accelerate good? Check your battery cables for clean/tight connections [both ends of the cable] Starter could be going bad.

I would say you have some kind of high resistance in a connection somwhere. Cold = low resistance but resistance and temp go up together
